Justin Woods, Director
Arriving at the Academy in 2010, Justin began teaching the Bible and mentoring Midshipmen to be disciples of Jesus. He has been a husband to Tera since 2006 and father to Anna and Judah. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2004, Justin began serving as a Reserve Air Force Chaplain. (Currently the Wing Chaplain at the 459th ARW, JB Andrews) Justin also holds a Master of Theology and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and currently the interim pastor at South Shore Baptist Church.
Tanner Henderson, Discipleship
Since moving from his island home in Honolulu, Hawai'i, Tanner has been serving with BCM. Previously, he was a youth pastor at Destiny Christian Church Hawai'i and taught Christian Education at his alma mater, the Kamehameha Schools. Tanner loves sharing Jesus and the aloha of his Hawaiian culture with the Navy BCM family. He is happily married to Michelle and they have two sons, Cross and Creed.
Doyle Kitchin, Discipleship
After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1976, Doyle spend his naval career as an engineering duty officer. His final two assignments were as the Chief Engineer aboard the Midway and the John F. Kennedy. After retiring as a Captain he continued serving as the Deputy Director for Machinery Systems at NavSea. Doyle now spends his time discipling Midshipmen to faithfully follow Jesus as they prepare for Navy.
Joey Nickerson, Preaching/Discipleship
From Ohio, Joey connected with BCM five years ago. Now Annapolis is his home with his wife, Rebecca. He pastors Citizen's Church as well as serves BCM by meeting with Mids and helping them walk with Jesus. Joey graduated from Liberty and has a M.Div from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
